Pizza Party

We celebrated Zac's C-Line contest win with a delicious pizza party!

Too much pizza!

Fact Family Practice

We are always searching for connections between addition and subtraction. Here we are discussing how three numbers live in the same house.

Social Studies Presentation

On Thursday, February 17th, we attended a presentation on the Amazon Rain Forest . We enjoyed learning about the people who live there and their ways of life.

Introducing...

Miss Chartrand is a university student at the University of Alberta who is completing her nine week practicum in our classroom. We are excited to have her!

Happy Valentine's Day

We spent our Valentine's Day reading about love between animal siblings.
The students really enjoyed these non-fiction articles.

February 9,2011- Joyeux Carnaval!

We had a fabulous day! We definitely didn't allow the chilly morning temperatures to slow us down! A big thank you to the fantastic Carnaval committee for their excellent organization. We had a blast together!
Bonhomme!

The Tire Relay

It was much harder than it looks!

This was during Mrs. Stewart's challenge with Shayan (photography by students)
The winner is still under review.

Hot Chocolate

Here we are, talking strategy for our scavenger hunt.

Miss Twarog taught us a traditional French dance.

3S were naturals!

Apparently, Mrs. Stewart had to concentrate the hardest!

We even added some spoons!

Where is everyone?

We ended our day with a wonderful song and dance performance.

Mrs. Stewart and Ashley were invited to perform. Fun, fun, fun!

And the winner is...

Congratulations Zac! We had a very exciting day on Monday. Our mayor, Greg Krischke visited us to announce the winner of the C-Line Bus Pass Competition. Zac's drawing will be showcased on the March bus passes. He also won a pizza party for his entire class. Way to go, Zac!

Valentine's Day Surprise

We've been working very hard on a creative surprise for you. Don't worry, you only  have to wait a few more days!
